What this site is
Barcelona Tourism Guide publishes editorial travel writing about Barcelona. It is not a travel agency, a tour operator, a ticket reseller or an accommodation provider. It takes no bookings, holds no money and enters into no contract with you about a trip. Anything you book after reading a guide is a matter between you and whoever you booked it with.
Accuracy, and the limits of it
Guides are researched carefully and checked against primary sources, but Barcelona does not hold still. Entry prices to Sagrada Família and Park Güell change. Museums shut for restoration. TMB revises fares and retires travel cards. Festival dates move, and a weather warning can close the Montjuïc cable car with no notice. Every figure on this site is correct as far as we know on the date shown on the guide, and no guarantee beyond that is possible.
Confirm anything that matters — a timed entry slot, a closing day, an airport transfer time — with the operator before you rely on it.
Not professional advice
Nothing here is legal, medical, financial or immigration advice. Notes about visas, Schengen rules, the Barcelona tourist tax, travel insurance or vaccinations are general background written for a broad readership, and your circumstances may differ. For anything with real consequences, ask someone qualified and check the official source for your own nationality.
Your own safety and judgement
Some things described on this site carry ordinary risk: swimming off the city beaches, walking the Carretera de les Aigües, hiking at Montserrat, cycling in traffic, going out late in El Raval or the Gothic Quarter. You are responsible for your own decisions, your own fitness and your own belongings. Barcelona has a well-documented pickpocketing problem and no guide can substitute for keeping an eye on your bag.

The site is provided as it is. To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for loss arising from your use of it — a missed booking, a closed attraction, a price that had gone up. Nothing here limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud, since the law does not allow that to be limited.
Availability
We try to keep the site up, but it can go down for maintenance or for reasons outside our control, and guides may be revised, merged or withdrawn as the city changes.

These terms may be updated; the date above shows when they last were. Questions about them, or about permission to reuse anything, go through the contact page. The privacy policy covers what happens to your data.
